How To Add Leather Into Your Look

Leather accent pieces are a great addition to any closet. A leather jacket, in particular, will add an edge of toughness to your outfit, and work well in the colder months as a layering piece. A girl once called this my “dominatrix outfit”, which I thought was hilarious. The leather on leather ensemble does bring out those vibes to the forefront. Underneath the jacket is a burgundy lace up top, and this shirt looks equally great paired with a black skater skirt.

Another way to wear leather is through pants or skirts. These sleek trousers are nice because one side retains a smooth faux leather texture, while the other side is made of a softer material. For a simpler look, you can balance it out by wearing a white t-shirt and having the pants be the focal point. Finally, you can also incorporate this fabric into your look by wearing accessories; such an a handbag, leather belt, or watch in the same material. Overall, this is a fantastic look for a night out in the city, because you are sure to feel fierce and powerful. Add a red lipstick with some messy curls, slide on a pair of heels and you’re good to go!
